The pick up from your hotel will be between 04:30 a.m. – 04.50 a.m. and head to the southern area of ​​our city traveling for approximately 3 hours to the town of Combapata 3200 masl, passing through the towns of Urcos, Cusipata and Checacupe where we will visit the Checacupe bridge (optional ). Here you will have time to use the toilet services before heading to the town of Combapata. We will continue the journey uphill for 1 hour and 40 minutes approximately. On the left bank of the Salka river we will have an incredible view of the valley where the starting point of the trek to ” Wallata Q’asa ” 4790 masl – 15715 fasl is located. We will also pass through the community of Palcoyo.

From this point you can see the Mountain of ” Warsaqyani ” where our adventure will begin walking for approximately 30 minutes to explore the hill of colours of ”Q’alle Q’alle ” and the Stone Forest or otherwise known as “Yura’q Qaqa” located at 4960 masl – 16272 fasl. The entire route of the trek is about 2 kilometers. If you ascend to the stone forest, this trek will be extended and will not have much of a slope.

After free time in the stone forest we will descend back to the parking lot and visit of the small Red Valley that this area offers, which is optional and takes only 15 more minutes to walk. We will then take our return transport to Cusipata, where we will have our delicious lunch.

After lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco arriving between 6:00 – 6:30 pm.
