One of the best places to experience the Peruvian Amazon is the World Heritage Site Manu National Park.
Manú National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional del Manú) is a national park and biosphere reserve located in the regions of Madre de Dios and Cusco in Peru. It protects a diverse number of ecosystems including lowland rainforests, cloud forests and Andean grasslands.

All tours can be done privately where you can set the departure time, add in or remove sites and most importantly go at your own pace. Please ask us for more information about availability and prices.
Following breakfast, we will take a hike through the forest for 2.5-3 hours. We will return to the lodge to eat lunch and then you will have free time to rest at the lodge or bathe in the river. In the afternoon, we will visit Lake Machuwasi and explore the area in balsa rafts, observing birds, such as the pre-historic hoatzin and, with luck, other animals such as monkeys and capybaras. On the way back, we will walk through another part of the forest to look for caimans, insects and amphibians. This will be followed by dinner at Amazon Manu Lodge where we will spend the night.
Day 4: Amazon EcoLodge – Cusco
After a delicious breakfast, take the opportunity to observe the hummingbirds around the lodge. We will then board our boat and drive up the river Madre de Dios back to Port Atalaya where our bus will await us to bring us back to Cusco. We will have lunch along the route back to Cusco, arriving between 5:30pm– 6:30pm.
