Pick up from your hotel located in the centre of Puno and transfer to the port.

We will head out in a speed boat to our first destination, Uros Island that will take around 25 minutes. We will spend about an hour on the island enjoying the activity.
When we arrive at the island we will see a group of people dressed in their typical local clothes, who will give us a warm welcome. When we disembark from the boat you will notice how the islands are floating under the water. Our guide will provide us with a detailed information about the floating island and the people that live there.
After the explanation we will have time to take pictures and visit the homes of the local people.
You will have the option to visit another island in totora reed rafts (S/. 10.00 price of the trip) where you can taste a typical dish of the area or buy local handicrafts.
We will then continue our journey on Lake Titicaca for another hour Lake until we reach the island of Taquile where we will begin our walk uphill for 40 minutes (approx.) towards the main square of the island. We will visit the textile museum and the colonial church.
We will then have lunch that will consist of quinoa soup as a starter with the main course being a trout dish. For drinks, it is traditional to drink mate de coca or muña which are very good to avoid altitude sickness and stomach aches. Our guide will give us an explanation about the history of the island, the clothes of the inhabitants and their main productions.
We will have free time to take pictures and then we will start the descent to the port to board the boat and start our way back to the main port of Puno.
