The Sacred Valley of the Incas extends along the Vilcanota River (the same river that takes the name of Urubamba or Willcamayu). It covers the area between the towns of Písaq and Ollantaytambo and is located at 2850 m.a.s.l. (approx).
All tours can be done privately where you can set the departure time, add in or remove sites and most importantly go at your own pace. Please ask us for more information about availability and prices.
You will be picked-up from your hotel at 8:30 a.m. in our bus to start the visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
After breakfast, we will head to the bus station at XX: XX am (about a 10-minute walk) to take the bus to the citadel of Machupicchu. Our entrance time to Machupicchu is from XX: XX to XX: XX am. Once in Machupicchu we will have a two-hour guided tour where we will visit the main places of Machupicchu including the tower of the watchmen, the main square, the sundial, etc. At the end of the tour we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. The return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo will be at 14.36 pm. From Ollantaytambo you will be transferred to Cusco by private bus arriving at around 18.30 pm.
